Well said. At the moment there are restoration road works on our street. Cable services are being updated and water supply pipes are being restored. Not even one Maltese worker amongst them. They come from different countries and work 7a.m. to 6p.m. digging roads in this heat is no fun. They are all well mannered and somehow managed to explain to us what is going on. They make an effort to leave the site as neat and safe as possible every day but the work has to be done. Each and every one of them has a name and family miles away. If there is a short of Maltese skilled workers I don't think we are in a position to be rude to them and look down our noses at as after all they are delivering us an essential service.
Dazgur li tajjeb ghall ekonomija specjalment ghal min qed jithallas biex jigu 'jahdmu' hawn. Ghandu jkun hemm skrutinju sew fuq lil min ingibu specjalment f setturi bhal tas sahha fejn nahdem jien. Ahdem ma min lanqas biss jaf yes minn no ahseb u ara kif se tafdalu responsabilta ta pazzjent u tkun taf xjigfieri. Minn naha l ohra dawk kompetenti li jkunu ilhom ftit snin hawn isibu xi pajjiz li joffrilhom iktar u jitilqu. Dan kollu bdetriment ghall kwalita tal kura lill marid.
